Last year’s DNA crew dived straight into the deep end, with mentoring from seasoned advertising creatives, client partners, PR experts and planners.
After working on real client briefs and experiencing all the challenges and opportunities our brilliant, fast-paced, curveball-loving industry can throw at us, the DNA class of ’22 are now urging creative minds to snap up the chance of a place this autumn.
“I’ve already recommended the DNA programme to my peers, especially those who are looking to gain industry experience,” said Jess Storey, who was studying graphic design at Northumbria University when she landed her DNA place.
“The key is to really take the opportunity and show your passion in the subject.”
We’ll be welcoming our 2023 cohort from 4-15 September. And the great news is that we’re doubling our intake, with even more for you to get excited about!
During your two weeks at Different Narrative HQ, you’ll get to know us and your fellow DNA team-mates. Expect some fun team-building stuff, because, like us, you’ll need to be a tight-knit bunch to collaborate at your best. You’ll get inside insight into what’s involved in creative copywriting, design and art direction, managing an account, and crafting a long-term brand strategy.
Experience the daily variety – and workload – of a busy full-service agency. And get tips on all aspects of the job, from delivering excellent client service to coming up with great ideas.
You’ll be thinking on your feet the whole time. As well as shadowing us in our day-to-day roles, you’ll be working on your own team solutions to one or two of the juiciest briefs we have on the go, ready to present them to us (and maybe the odd special-guest client) on your final day. In at the deep end, yes, because that’s what it’s all about.
